About
Go on an adventure in sound with artists from Australia and New Zealand who are fascinated by whale song. This show features stories and music of acclaimed whale songman Bunna Lawrie (Mirning Elder) and occupies a third space between ancestral song and contemporary classical music. The artists share messages of ocean conservation from different cultural perspectives, alongside whale song recorded by The Oceania Project and enlivening original music. It will take all of humanity to protect whales as they travel the world’s oceans. We hope to unite people in this common cause through music.
