The crackle of summer campfires, the scent of backyard garden lilies, running through freshly cut grass: this concert is an exploration of memories through song and sound brought to life by Belinda Corpuz and a band of some of Toronto’s best musicians.
About Belinda Corpuz
Belinda Corpuz is a Filipina-Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. Her EP, All I Am, has garnered national radio play, including features on CBC Radio. Her voice has been featured on film soundtracks, including Robert Eggers’ The Witch and Netflix’s In the Tall Grass. She is a member of the multi-award-winning group, Tita Collective. Corpuz is a graduate of the 2024 Soulpepper Academy and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music (Jazz Studies), holding a BMus in Performance, Jazz Voice. As an actor and theatre creator, she has developed new works with various theatre companies in Toronto, including Soulpepper, Factory Theatre, Canadian Stage and Crow’s Theatre.
