Planned Building Closure: October 5–18
Harbourfront Centre’s main building at 235 Queens Quay West will be temporarily closed from October 5–18 while we complete a major phase of our energy retrofit project.
During this time, public access to the main building will be restricted, and the Ontario Science Centre at Harbourfront Centre and Boxcar Social will be closed. P2 parking will remain open, although occasional delays are possible due to construction.
Alternative public washrooms can be accessed nearby in the The Fleck at Harbourfront Centre Theatre building (231 Queens Quay West) or the Queen’s Quay Terminal building (207 Queens Quay West).
The project will replace aging infrastructure, improve building reliability and help reduce Harbourfront Centre’s greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 50 per cent.
Land Acknowledgment
We respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional caretakers of this territory and their unique role in the life of the region. Harbourfront Centre is committed to honouring Indigenous peoples’ cultural and spiritual relationships to the land and waters, and their rich contribution to society. Toronto is on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We ask that you respect the land and traditions of those who walked upon it for millennia before us.
The Main Building will remain open for 30 minutes after programmed events inside it have ended. Hours for other campus venues may vary – see individual event listings for details.
