Program Description

We’re excited to introduce Make & Play! Students will divide their day between any half-day visual art workshop and a soccer workshop on our Jumpstart Community Pitch. Students will experiment with visual art techniques and gain a deeper understanding of contemporary art. Play on the Jumpstart Community Pitch will include a workshop designed to get students moving and exploring the fundamentals of soccer.

Program Objectives

By the end of the Make & Play program, students will:

  • Explore creativity through multiple forms of expression.
  • Explore the connection between creativity and physical activity.
  • Explore shape, texture, pattern and positive and negative space in printmaking.
