About
Join us for an evening of balfolk, a vibrant style of social dance rooted in traditional (mostly French) folk dances. From bourrées, jigues and gavottes to mazurkas, waltzes and scottishes, you will explore a mix of partner, group and flowing chain dances. Dance to the dynamic sounds of live music featuring clarinet, accordion and fiddle, blending traditional folk melodies with fresh new compositions written just for these dances. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a curious dancer, this is your chance to step into a warm, inclusive atmosphere and discover the magic of balfolk!
7–7:45pm: Dance Class*
8–9:45pm: Live Band
*Sign up below for your Free Ticket to attend the Dance Class portion of the evening.
