Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, we do not keep any course or workshop waitlists.

To take part in the intro to glassblowing weekend, you must be present for the first session, which is dedicated to studio safety training and comfort working with the material. If you can not attend, we can either cancel and refund you or reschedule you for another date if available.

We do not offer any one-on-one courses due to the nature of our residency program.

Please create an account through Camp Brain, then email craft@harbourfrontcentre.com with the following information about your friend (Full Name, Birthdate, Email). The coordinator will then register your friend (if spots are still available) through the back end of the system and, once booked, email you with the registration confirmation and payment information.

If the make-up course you require is offered at another date and is limited to a one-day workshop, we may be able to offer a make-up class. However, for any courses longer that a one-day session , we are not able to accommodate make-up classes.

We do not offer group packages.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Any class can be cancelled and refunded if done so at least five days before the class’s date. You will receive a refund minus $40.00 for any cancellations after the five-day window. However, any cancellations within 24 hours or no shows are not eligible for refunds. Please allow 3-5 days to receive your refund from the artist.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information). Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.

Course listings go up twice a year, once in October for the winter and spring and once in May for the summer and fall.

If you don’t see your question above, please email us at craft@harbourfrontcentre.com.
