Kristina Shelden is a remarkably gifted singer-songwriter and performer. The Vancouver-based Dene First Nations artist’s voice is packed with depth, power and vulnerability. Despite challenges from an accident that left her as an ambulatory quadriplegic – or perhaps because of them – Sheldon instead blossomed and is now an integral part of the disability music scene.
