Program Description
In this active workshop, students will work with an experienced dance educator to explore the elements of hip hop and the elements of dance.
Program Objectives
By the end of the Dance – Primary Hip Hop program, students will:
- Explore the origins and four elements of hip-hop culture (DJing, MCing/rapping, graffiti, dancing).
- Express themselves through a variety of movement games/activities.
- Learn and perform a short dance combination.
