Program Description
In this program, students will explore the elements of dance through a variety of movement activities. Using play and imagination, students will learn how to express themselves as creative movers.
Program Objectives
By the end of the Dance – Creative Movement program, students will:
- Gain an understanding of movement through the elements of dance, specifically body, space and time.
- Use playful exploration of movement as a starting point for creating choreography.
- Learn and perform a short dance sequence.
