About

A one-day, beginner-friendly, screen-printing workshop where you will learn from a Harbourfront Centre Artist-in-Residence on how to expose a screen with your own image or design and print it in the Craft & Design Studio and darkroom! Tote bags and fabric will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring in as many of their clothing/textile wares such as tea towels, shirts, dresses, tank-tops, pillowcases and bags to up-cycle. Leave the session with a gift for yourself, your wardrobe or a loved one.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
