Overview

Celebrating strength, resilience, and virtuosity; Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre presents VERGE. This exhilarating mixed-program presents World Premieres by internationally acclaimed choreographers Jennifer Archibald, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, and features a new creation by Artistic Director Deborah Lundmark set to live jazz music by Thompson Egbo-Egbo.

The performance also includes audience favourites ARENA (2009) by Colin Connor, featuring six dancers clashing and compromising within a circle of boulders to a driving orchestral score by Robert Moran; and RESET (2018) by Roderick George, “a sardonic riff on pop culture, a shin-kick to authority, a rethink of just who is in charge here.”
