About
Inspired by the traditions of Caribbean steelpan music, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the rhythms and visual energy of steelpan culture through art making.
Participants will create steelpan-inspired artwork using everyday materials, exploring pattern, texture and bold design, while learning about an iconic cultural art form from the Caribbean. The next time that you hear sweet pan music coming down the road, you will be ready to join the engine room of the band (the rhythm section) with your steelpan-designed shak-shak!
