About John Fellner

Singer-songwriter John Fellner blurs the boundaries between indie folk and R&B, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. John’s journey into the world of music started behind the scenes as a JUNO-nominated producer and songwriter, working with some of Canada’s top artists, including Preston Pablo, Haviah Mighty, Saint Harison, Parson James and more. However, it wasn’t until he began writing for himself that he discovered the deep, personal resonance that comes with creating music from his own experiences. His indie-folk style draws on a rich tapestry of influences, from the heartfelt lyricism of folk legends to the smooth grooves of R&B, resulting in a sound that feels intimate yet expansive.
With over 80 million streams as a producer and a growing presence as an artist, Fellner’s trajectory is clear. His 2026 goals are set on sharing more of his story with the world, inviting listeners into the vulnerable spaces he creates through music – a new EP is already on the way in the new year. As he steps fully into his own artistry, Fellner is a name to watch, using his unique voice to bridge the gap between past and present, heartbreak and healing.
