Drag performers Fay Slift and Fluffy Soufflé return to JUNIOR for more storytelling fun, bigger and better than ever before! Join them for an outdoor reading experience and dance party in JUNIOR’S’s famed Tickle Trunk. They make reading fun for kids (and adults) while encouraging everyone to see our differences as beautiful. Fay and Fluffy’s Storytime is for everyone and especially families with LGBTQ2S+ parent(s) and gender variant children. With culturally diverse books, a few off-key songs and a supportive and inclusive environment focused on fun, it is an event enjoyed by everyone willing to have some laughs, from babies to grandparents.
About Fay and Fluffy
JP (Fay Slift) and Kaleb (Fluffy Soufflé) are drag performers and experienced child educators. By day, JP is an educator with the TDSB, currently in his 22nd year. Kaleb is an independent cultural producer (DJ, performer, event host), and a childcare provider. Together they have been doing draft storytimes since 2016.
Fay and Fluffy are set for new adventures in 2022 as their newly wrapped television show for preschoolers aired in Canada on Family Junior starting January 2022. Watch out for The Fabulous Show with Fay & Fluffy as they discuss topics with an audience of kids, hang with their puppet friends and read stories!
