Nordic Silent Disco

Presented by AIRMOVES

Silent Disco

Overview

Bring your friends, dancing shoes and mittens: our Nordic Silent Disco is here to brighten up those dark December nights. Dance the cold away as our Icelandic guest DJ spins tunes straight into your headphones. You won’t want to miss out!

The Silent Disco is the anchor activity of AIRMOVES: It represents the first generation of events that utilized wireless headphones. Silent Disco migrates the standard party from the typical “club” sound system to non-traditional venues and outdoor spaces due to the wireless nature of the set-up and lack of need for speakers or amplifiers.

About AIRMOVES

We create experiences through curated talent selection based on over 20 years of concert and event production in the Greater Toronto Area. Despite our extensive work in event presentation, we discovered a new and fun way to add offerings to our repertoire. Since 2018, AIRMOVES has worked with record labels, music and arts festivals, artists, event planners and cultural institutions. And, of course, everyday folks looking to have a good time!

About Sweet Touch Foundation

Sweet Touch Foundation are among some of the finest DJs to come out of Toronto, and two of the baddest brothers to touch a set of turntables. Known almost as much for their impeccable fashion as they are for their technical skills and ability to command any given room, the “2BadBros” have been at it for almost two decades and continue to take it to new levels. Brothers in both life and music, DJ Riccachet and DJ Thera-P have an uncanny gift when it comes to selecting and blending music – attend a Sweet Touch event and you’ll hear a mind-boggling mix of sounds from today and days long passed, seamlessly tied together with their signature finesse. From spinning at NBA All-Star Week events for Mitchell & Ness, to rocking private parties for the Toronto Football Club (TFC), to DJ Thera-P receiving multiple tweets of praise from Phonte of the Grammy-nominated band The Foreign Exchange, to playing to sold-out crowds of 3000+ at the Royal Ontario Museum in a string of appearances at the esteemed Friday Night Lights events – not to mention being the main act for their New Year’s Eve party that crashed their website and sold out in 12 minutes – 2016 was an eventful one. Highly sought after for their signature style and sound, Sweet Touch Foundation’s love and passion for music and their craft is on full display whenever they’re in the mix, making them the top choice for any event.

About Your Boy Brian

Once voted “most likely to blend 21 Savage with Taylor Swift,” Your Boy Brian spent years of his post-adolescence searching for his calling. The call was met when his first crush suggested he try DJing. After being initially reluctant that doing this would make her like him, he realized it would lead to something better: drink tickets. What started as a scheme to score a few PBRs turned into an almost twenty-year career that has been the ultimate intersection of Brian’s love of music, meeting celebrities and eating after 2am. This is a roundabout way of saying he’s spent more time DJing nightclubs than with his family. From hipsters on Queen West to athletes at King St. Clubs, tourists at boutique hotels to alcoholics at most wedding receptions, everyone will tell you that Brian is your boy. Maybe.
