Overview

For the topic immigration identity of Dutch Colonial Effect, after four hundred years, from his perspective and voice, Kerr has been trying to transfer the history into melody by many ways. In this performance, Kerr will bring a few songs he wrote relativity to this event. He hopes Taiwanese people will never forget their own identity no matter what the history was.

About Kerr Lee

Kerr Lee is a storyteller. Music is a way for him to channel his personal experience into creativity. He plays multiple instruments, but the guitar is special to him. He is a Taiwanese Canadian independent musician with many years of experience in live performances. Kerr immigrated to Canada six years ago, and his travels fuel his desire to capture different cultures, stories and worldviews through his music and lyrics. Kerr has a lot of things he’d like to say, and he plans to turn them into songs to share with you all in the near future. There’s so much for him to express and he hopes you enjoy it.
