Health and Safety

We have implemented the following measures to protect the health and safety of everyone in enjoying Harbourfront Centre’s campus and venues:   

  • Harbourfront Centre requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  
  • Harbourfront Centre requires all visitors aged 12 and up, including those attending on-campus events, visiting a gallery, or performing maintenance or construction work to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. (For more information, please refer to our  FAQ  below.)   
  • We encourage an always-on mask policy while on campus (For more information, please refer to our FAQ below.) 
  • Before coming to any part of Harbourfront Centre’s campus and outdoor venues, please register with the COVID-19 Health Check-in App. (harbourfrontcentre.com/checkin)  
  • We have increased our cleaning schedule to ensure all high touch points and high traffic areas are disinfected multiple times each day.

FAQ

What is Harbourfront Centre’s Mask Policy?  

Masks are mandatory for all indoor areas and our rink at all times, including outdoors when physical distancing cannot be maintained or interacting with an outdoor event. A proper face mask consists of a three-layer fabric that wholly covers above the nose and under your chin. A random-weft material found in masks like the N95 is ideal. 

How do I show proof of vaccination? 

Visitors must show proof of being fully vaccinated through one of the following: 

  • QR code on a mobile device: Visitors must provide their QR code from the Verify Ontario App for authenticity.  
  • Paper copies and digital copies without a QR code: As of January 4 2022, Ontarians will be required to use their enhanced vaccine certificate with official QR code. Vaccine receipts without a QR code will no longer be accepted as valid proof of vaccination.

What if I am visiting from out of province or outside of Canada?  

  • If visitors come to us from out of province or outside of Canada, security or a staff member will verify the vaccine record by matching the person’s name and birthday against the identification produced.   
  • If you are visiting  from out of the country and do not have a Health Canada approved vaccine, you cannot enter Harbourfront Centre.  
  • Harbourfront Centre will follow all the requirements of the Government of Canada as it relates to travel restrictions. To ensure you are in compliance, please follow: travel.gc.ca/travel-covid  

Do children under 11 have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test?  

No. Children aged 11 and under are not required to be vaccinated and do not need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.  

Will you have hand sanitization stations on-site?  

Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout Harbourfront Centre’s buildings and at all entry points.  

What is Harbourfront Centre’s refund policy?  

  • If an event is cancelled or postponed, Harbourfront Centre will endeavor to reach all visitors via phone or e-mail to inform them of the cancellation or rescheduled date. A refund for the ticket(s) purchased will be issued. A notice will also be posted on the website and at the venue.   
  • Performance tickets: Please note that all performance ticket sales are final. Ticket upgrades and exchanges, where possible, must be completed at least 24 hours before the performance. Please allow extra time for parking and locating your venue. Latecomers are not guaranteed entrance to all performances as late calls differ by production, and no refunds will be issued.
