About Sean Jones

Sean Jones is a JUNO award-winning R&B singer/songwriter whose contemporary take on classic soul and R&B sound is a tribute to the icons that inspired him. His expansive career saw him perform on Monaco’s shores, Hawaii’s islands, London’s historic Trafalgar Square, New York’s Carnegie Hall and The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center.

About Avery Raquel

From recording artist and performer to radio co-host, Canadian singer/songwriter and Billboard charting artist Avery Raquel has entertained audiences professionally for over ten years. She released three solo albums to critical acclaim and airplay across the country and has just released her self-titled fourth record in 2022, which debuted on the Canadian iTunes Top 200 RnB/Soul album chart at #5. Four tracks from that album were finalists in the John Lennon Song Writing Competition in 2021/22.

This new project of original alternative soul is reminiscent of her love for the R&B/Soul music of the past, but with a more contemporary style. Influenced by artists such as Carole King, Amy Winehouse, and so many others, Raquel has created a soulful mix of R&B/Soul and pop in this new collection with a flavour of her jazz and blues experiences.

Raquel has performed, written or recorded with notable Canadians David Clayton-Thomas, Sean Jones, Tyler Shaw, among others. Performing across the country, including main-stage performing arts centres, renowned music festivals, club-style venues and corporate events, she continues to wow ever-growing audiences with her fresh style and powerful vocal performances.

About Gary Beals

Gary Beals is a JUNO-nominated recording artist. Born and raised in Cherry Brook, a small, predominately Black community in the province of Nova Scotia, Beals first fell in love with music growing up in the church. From singing in the church choir to growing up listening to classic soul artists such as Al Green, James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding and being captivated by music legends Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, is what influenced his soulful, R&B sound.

Beals has released full-length studio albums and will release his fourth album this coming Spring of 2023. His music career catapulted to greater heights when he captured the nation’s hearts, becoming the first runner-up on Canadian Idol.

Beals is a seven-time African Nova Scotian Music Award winner, Canadian Independent Music Award and East Coast Music Award winner, a Canadian Urban Music Award nominee, Canadian Radio Music Award nominee and a Planet Africa Rising Star recipient. Tim Houston, the current premier of Nova Scotia, declared November 22 as Gary Beals Day.

Actively performing all over North America, Beals aspires to be an artist whose voice is an inspiration for those who haven’t fully realized their inner strength to pursue their dreams and live authentically. His next project release is said to offer a more profound evolution as he introduces his audiences to a more refined and conscious version of himself to impact the growing global community positively.
