This event is a Nordic Spotlight, part of Nordic Bridges.

Overview

You are warmly invited to a salon evening to celebrate the Animal, Vegetable, Mineral exhibition, meet the artists and connect with like-minded guests in the community.

We encourage you to wear your favourite piece of statement jewellery – it will act as your access to enter this reception! We hope that each person’s piece of jewellery will serve as an ice breaker to great conversations.

Animal, Vegetable, Mineral brings together artists who embrace debris and detritus, running counter to widely held ideas about what constitutes “fine jewellery” and what represents value. Much like contemporary art, contemporary jewellery expands our view of society, culture, the world around us and ourselves. Jewellery is significant for its direct associations with bodies, its ability to convey ideas at an intimate level and its movement through space and time.

We hope you can join us!
