About
Join Jasmine Vanstone and VIBE Arts for an amazing Carnival mask-making workshop! After last year’s super popular Carnival Collage Creations, they’re back, giving both new and returning artists the chance to create their own Carnival masks.
About Jasmine Vanstone
Jasmine Vanstone is a Jamaican-Canadian multidisciplinary artist, facilitator and administrator with a passion to inspire, impact and amplify marginalized voices through community engagement, arts education and public art. Through her artistic practice, she experiments in various mediums -primarily collage, murals and paper crafts to share visual reflections of identity, wellness and the natural environment.
About VIBE Arts
Established in 1995 by founder Lola Rasminsky as Arts for Children of Toronto, VIBE Arts initially functioned as a provider of arts scholarships with the goal was to ensure that any child, regardless of means, could benefit from high-quality, hands-on arts experiences. In 2002, programming shifted away from awarding scholarships to a focus on outreach programming. This move stemmed from the belief of reaching more children, increasing accessibility by ensuring that artists are facilitating programming directly in neighbourhoods. Their no-cost programming is now offered in over 50 neighbourhoods across Southern Ontario.
