Prepare for an evening of laughter and entertainment as award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and comedy writer Martha Chaves returns to Harbourfront Centre as host and comedic opener for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Known for her candid performances, the popular comedian will light up the stage with her infectious style of humour and natural ability to relate to the audience. 

About Martha Chaves

Martha Chaves’ infectious, candid style and innate ability to connect with a diverse range of audiences make her a sought-after headliner at clubs, festivals, fundraisers, corporate functions and keynote speaking engagements.   

Her credits include multiple appearances in Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, and the We Are Funny That Way Festivals and her national comedy specials, Something About Martha on CTV and the Comedy Network and Comics! on CBC. She’s currently the voice of Vero on Rosie’s Rules.  

Chaves is often heard on CBC Radio’s The Debaters and Laugh Out Loud and is a cast member of CBC’s Because News. In 2023, TLN named her “One of the Ten Most Influential Hispanic Canadians.”
