About
Look In is an act of looking inward and into one’s roots. In this window installation, the artist traces the South Asian textile traditions she carries as a foundation from which to grow, grounding herself in where she comes from to shape where she is going. For passers-by, the window becomes a threshold, an opportunity to see themselves within a tradition that may or may not be their own.
