About
The evening begins with a beginner-friendly line dancing lesson led by the callers of SPURS Night — Toronto and Montreal’s beloved queer line dancing series. Rooted in the rich history of LGBTQ+ country and western dance, they’ll guide you through easy-to-follow steps in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can jump in and have fun.
Once you’ve got the moves, stick around as live music takes over and the dance floor comes alive. Blending everything from honky-tonk to R&B to contemporary pop, this is your chance to dance, connect and celebrate in a space that’s all about joy, expression, and community. No experience needed—just bring yourself and get ready to move.

About SPURS Night
SPURS Night is Toronto and Montreal’s beloved line dancing night for queer people and their friends. Based in the history of LGBTQ+ country and western dancing, queer line dancing combines traditional steps with a range of music from honky-tonk to R&B and contemporary pop.
About Shania Twink
Shania Twink is an all-queer band from Toronto, doing pop country and adjacent fierce femme bangers: think Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman and others. They certainly hit hard within queer spaces, but their appeal is much broader as well. They’re world class musicians and performers, including a crossover in members of Dwayne Gretzky, as well as successful Canadian bands like July Talk, Bahamas and more.
