Overview

”Creativity is a miracle that only exists when you know how to share it. Our studio is a special place where this miracle happens every day.”

RPBW

For several months, Francesca Molteni and her documentary team had access to one of the most important architectural firms in the world. While inside the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, they had a succession of meetings, phone calls, project reviews, decisions and second thoughts. They faced unexpected events and difficulties together.

In Genoa, Paris, New York and Los Angeles, they witnessed the miracle of creation as silent spectators, from project sketches to the strong physicality of a construction site. Then they met Renzo Piano: a master and inspirer of ideas with an extraordinary ability to distance himself from a project, visualize the problem and find the right solution.

This film is attempts to share some fragments of the everyday life behind the figure of an exceptional architect. The film will begin and end with a Q&A with the director, producer and members of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop team. This is a North American premiere, both the director and producer will be in attendance.
