Straight from an Off-Broadway run, acclaimed New Zealand company EBKM (Yes Yes Yes) brings Heartbreak Hotel to Luminato – part love story, part physiology lesson – as audiences witness the shattering of a heart and what it takes to put it back together again. Bad Tinder dates, Berlin club nights, lo-fi synths, tears in the shower and tentative new beginnings are soundtracked by iconic ballads (“I Can’t Make You Love Me”, “It’s All Coming Back to Me” and “Heartbreak Hotel”).
