About
Join us on September 12, 2026, at Harbourfront Centre Theatre for a special evening honouring the remarkable Hon. Dr. Jean Augustine as we celebrate her birthday and her enduring impact on Canadian society, Caribbean communities and generations of leaders.
This year’s event will feature a special screening of Queen of Soca directed by Kevin Adams – the highly acclaimed film celebrating Caribbean music, culture, resilience and the power of women’s voices. The evening will also include a reception with a celebratory toast to Dr. Augustine and the presentation of the Jean Augustine Excellence Award followed by a vibrant after-party.
Come celebrate, connect and support Caribbean storytelling on this memorable evening, the signature event of Screen Share: Caribbean Stories, Collective Power 2026.
