About The Canadian Irish Dance Company

The Canadian Irish Dance Company is a not-for-profit organisation based in Toronto, founded in 2021 by Catherine Errington, President & Artistic Director, and Camille Slaght, Vice President, to provide professional opportunities for Canadian Irish dancers & choreographers.

We are a collective of artists reshaping Irish dancing as a modern artform. Since 2021, the Canadian Irish Dance Company has been providing choreography residencies and opportunities for Irish dancers across the country.
