Overview

Experience a mesmerizing acoustic set by Hasheel, a Hindustani Classical flautist and singer, Yanchan, a Carnatic mridangam player and hip-hop producer, and Anton Apostolov, a dynamic Balkan composer. Hasheel, a senior bansuri student of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and a vocal student of Pandit Ajay Pohankar, has devoted his life to North Indian Classical music since childhood. Yanchan, acclaimed for blending South Asian elements into his Carnatic/Hip-Hop tracks, has gained millions of streams worldwide. Anton Apostolov, renowned for his vibrant Balkan compositions, has toured globally. Together, they create a meditative yet invigorating performance. With performances alongside luminaries like Kailash Kher, Hariharan, Shan Vincent De Paul, Karsh Kale and A. R. Rahman, these artists have captivated audiences worldwide. 

About Hasheel

Hasheel has been learning North Indian Classical music since the age of five. He is a senior bansuri student of the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and a vocal student of Pandit Ajay Pohankar. Anton Apostolov has toured the world with his original compositions and offers a vibrant, energetic Balkan flavour to the sound. Collectively, they have performed worldwide with notable artists like Kailash Kher, Hariharan, Shan Vincent De Paul, Karsh Kale and academy award winner A. R. Rahman.

The Toronto Music Garden is a wheelchair accessible park. Summer Music In The Garden concerts include 8 reserved spots for accessible seating on a first come, first served basis. As these performances take place in a park, they are inherently relaxed performances by nature.
