About
Patrick Lightheart’s mural reflects the city as a collective of many individual stories, drawing from his lived experience. Using a mosaic-inspired design, the work celebrates the people, diversity and inclusive spirit of Toronto resulting in a welcoming public artwork that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in place.
The mural forms part of a broader city-wide initiative led and supported by the City of Toronto, reflecting the host city theme, The World in a City.
