About

Spend an afternoon exploring screen printing on fabric in this one-day workshop. Perfect for beginners or anyone with experience wanting to refresh their skills. We will review the basics of screen printing and look at techniques like layering, offsetting, and colour gradients to create dynamic one-colour prints. All screens will be prepared beforehand so students can focus on printing. Everyone will be asked before class to send in the design they want to print with. This can be a black-and-white drawing, design, photograph or text. Students will be given cotton fabric for sampling and a tote bag to print their final designs. You are also welcome to bring in your textiles to work with.
