In this workshop, students will learn the basics of weaving on a small tapestry loom and create a unique and functional coaster to take home. Perfect for beginners without prior experience, this workshop covers essential techniques, including warping the loom, prepping the yarn, creating simple patterns and finishing the weave. By the end of the workshop, students will have a finished coaster, a small loom frame and the skills to continue exploring the joy of weaving. Registration fee includes a small loom frame and yarn.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
