About

Learn the drumleaf bookbinding method to create a flat-opening book ideal for prints, photographs, and mixed media work.

In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, students will build page spreads, assemble a text block, and attach hard covers to create a fully functional, customizable artist book. One of the greatest advantages of making your own book is the ability to customize it to your needs.

All supplies, including mixed media and decorative papers, will be provided, but students are also welcome to bring their own specialty papers, prints, or artwork they’d like to transform into a 4×5” book.

This beginner-friendly, small class size workshop will ensure hands-on guidance at every stage as you complete the book tailored to your style.
