In this beginner workshop, students are introduced to six new embroidery stitches to learn how to combine them in future projects. This workshop is a great way to learn a new technique and the special tricks to make it fun and successful. Students will come away from this experience with a sampler of stitches, new embroidery hoops and new embroidery threads to help them on their journey forward with this beautiful craft.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
