Participants will be introduced to creating textile artwork directly using nature in this exploratory workshop. The primary technique the workshop will focus on is making quilt-inspired compositions using preserved leaves. This detail-oriented technique will encourage participants to come away with a new perspective on the natural world and how they relate to it through what they create.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
