About

Learn to stitch 3D flowers using needle-weaving embroidery techniques in this beginner-friendly workshop. Students will create a sampler or hoop art exploring basic to complex stitches to illustrate 3D flowers, leaves, and baskets on cloth. Apply the skills you learn in this workshop to future embroidery projects, such as hoop art and garment embellishments!

For any groups of 8 or smaller, please email craft@harbourfrontcentre.com as we may be able to accomodate you.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
