Maja Rudnicki

Maja Rudnicki is a species commonly found in the meadows, fields and deciduous forests of Tkaronto, Ontario. They are an artist working primarily in ceramics and sculpture, having earned their degree from OCADU in 2025 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture / Installation and a minor in Creative Writing.

Rudnicki is particularly interested in alienation, permanence and the simple pleasure found in community. Their work explores queerness and otherness through insects and socially discarded creatures, often involving electronics that are nestled into the work to bring them to life. Their practice involves play, exploratory world-building and endless iteration.
