About

Welcome to our wheel throwing course, where participants of all experience levels are invited to join. Newcomers to the medium will receive a comprehensive introduction to the ceramic process, focusing on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Those with prior experience will have the opportunity to refine their techniques and tackle more intricate projects. Our course encourages students to develop at their own speed. You will concentrate on crafting functional items like bowls, cups, and tiles and explore the art of creating small sculptures.

The registration fee includes all necessary materials and firings.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
