Support Festivals and Events

As an active member of the volunteer community at Harbourfront Centre, you have the opportunity to enrich our festivals and events and enhance our visitor experience by providing support in an administrative capacity in the office or onsite in a public facing position.

Available Volunteer Roles

We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy interacting with the public and would like to work closely with our Audience Experience and Marketing teams:

  1. Ambassadors: first point of contact for the public, helping them to get situated on our site and redirecting them to the appropriate location.
  2. Info Tent Attendants: well-informed about programming and not shy about engaging with the public.
  3. Intercept Survey Takers: initiate conversation with visitors and get them to participate in a brief survey.
  4. Team Leaders: supporting and guiding a group of volunteers through their shift and reporting back to the team.

Canada Connects

Get involved with Canada Connects mentorship program in partnership with CultureLink.

We recruit experienced mentors (19+ years of age) who support a group of newcomers to Canada while they settle in the GTA and volunteer together at any of our festivals.

The program runs in the fall/winter and spring/summer and requires a 35-hour commitment.

“I am so grateful for my volunteer opportunity at Harbourfront Centre.
