Multi-award-nominated (and winning and losing) creator Brian Solomon is of Anishinaabe and Irish heritage, born in Shebahonaning on the North Channel of Lake Huron. His commissions have ranged from community-rooted works with over 100 interpreters, to solos in trees, to animated installations of landfill. His works have been presented and toured across Turtle Island and abroad.
