Overview

Salience features three World Premieres by London’s Olivier Coëffard, New York City’s Chantelle Good, and by CCDT Artistic Director Deborah Lundmark. 2019 audience favourites Lacrimosa by Nicole Caruana and BYTIYE by Jennifer Archibald complete the company’s annual spring showcase of cutting-edge contemporary dance.

Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre is a Toronto-based repertory company of exceptional next-generation artists founded in 1980 by Artistic Director Deborah Lundmark and Managing Director Michael deConinck Smith. Highlights include appearances at Toronto’s Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra Theatres, five invitations to the Canada Dance Festival, tours to Singapore, Malaysia, China, Scotland and NYC and a featured appearance at Fall For Dance North, Toronto’s premiere international dance festival.
