About

Glide into the new year at our free admission DJ Skate Night happening at 8pm-10pm on the rink with DJ Smartiez, known for experimenting with fresh mixes and a high-energy mix of top chart-smashing hits. Catch a dazzling, on-ice drag performance by New Ho Queen on the skating rink at 9:15pm.

Starting at 10pm, dance along to this year’s headliner, Lu Kala, bringing a fiery-voiced sound to our Concert Stage, with opening sets by cootie catcher, offering playful indie-electronic vibes, and Kalisway, known for electrifying, feel-good tracks that blend classic groove with modern edge. KIMIWVN’s DJ set will follow the midnight countdown and keep the celebration going until 1am with a dance party.

Enjoy tasty bites from local vendors at our Community Square, join in on one last scavenger hunt through the Winter Maze and ride through the Harbourfront Express, and countdown to midnight with the City of Toronto’s spectacular 10-minute fireworks display starting at 12am, synchronized to music for a stunning high-altitude light show over the lake.

CBC will be on-site capturing the excitement for their national New Year’s Eve coverage, and we’ll also have a few surprise moments you won’t want to miss!

Travel Advice

Coming down for New Year’s Eve and fireworks? We expect the waterfront traffic around our campus to be very busy, and on-site parking will be extremely limited.

Riding public transit is strongly recommended for New Year’s Eve celebrations. FREE service is available on the TTC, GO Transit and UP Express from 7pm on Wednesday, December 31 to 8am on Thursday, January 1, 2026. All customers should tap at fare kiosks as usual but will not be charged during the free service period.

Travel and Road Closures

TTC

Subway service will run until 3am, with the last trains leaving Union Station towards Finch Station at approximately 2:31am and towards Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station at 2:27am. The Blue Night Network service, including buses and streetcars, will start at 3am. For more information on TTC’s New Year’s Eve services, visit: www.ttc.ca/NYE

GO Transit & UP Express

GO train, GO bus and UP Express trips will be free from 7pm on Wednesday, December 31 to 8am on Thursday, January 1, 2026. For detailed schedules, visit gotransit.com

To help prevent overcrowding at Union Station following the fireworks, starting at midnight, all TTC customers will be redirected to the east side exterior entrance. Accessible entry will be maintained through the Brookfield place entrance inside the station. Queue lines on Bay Street will be separated for TTC and GO customers and customers are encouraged to follow signage and staff directions to ensure they are in the correct line. TTC riders are encouraged to also consider using nearby stations, such as King, Queen, St. Andrew and Osgoode, to avoid crowds at Union Station.
