Overview

Is Taiwanese culture the same as Chinese culture? In Canada, where multiculturalism is one of our fundamental values, does everyone have the space needed to self-determine their identity?

About Charlie Wu, Speaker

Charlie Wu, managing director of the Asian Canadian Special Events Association, recently published his book Taiwan Does Good, claiming Taiwan can be the answer to the world while insisting Canada is where he found the answer. For all Chinese-speaking Canadians, this book can provide some guidance in discovering your own identity. Who are you? What determines your culture?
