Have you ever wanted to try some circus tricks? In this introductory-level kids activity, work with Harbourfront Centre circus instructors to try out circus activities, including aerial spinning hoops and trapeze. We will adapt for age and ability – come and watch or try!
All participants must sign a waiver. A physical waiver will also be available at the Circus! Circus! tent during the festival.
About Rachel David
Welcome to Circus! Circus! Led by Rachel David and her team of circus instructors, children are invited to come and play, try new things and join the circus for the day!
David is a circus professional and the founder of the Toronto Social Circus organization: SoCirC, a circus youth group designed to build trust, self-esteem, relationships and community through the creation of circus arts. She also works with various social circus organizations nationwide and is the new leader of Marsha Kensington’s Harbourfront Centre Circus camp. Trained Harbourfront Centre and SoCirC staff will run the JUNIOR Festival Circus! Circus! workshops for kids to come to play!
