Explore South Asian mirror embroidery techniques and learn to adorn textiles with glass mirrors! In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn about the origins of mirror embroidery and decorate cloth with shimmering glass mirrors and beautiful thread. Students can apply the skills learned in this workshop to future embroidery projects, such as hoop art and garment embellishment.
All materials and supplies are included, but students are welcome to bring along personal garments, tote bags or fabrics to personalize their wardrobes.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
