About
In this course, participants are brought on a journey from raw fleece to finished, indigo-dyed yarn and roving. Learning the basics on how to clean sheep’s fleece, prepare it for becoming yarn, spinning it with a 2 ply twist, and finally colouring it with Natural Indigo.
This course is an Intermediate level course; experience in knitting, crochet, felting, or weaving is an asset.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
