This six-week course offers a welcoming introduction to ceramics for all skill levels. Learn both wheel throwing and hand building techniques while crafting a variety of pieces, from everyday tableware to decorative objects of your own design. With a small class size, you’ll receive one-on-one guidance, along with instruction in decorative techniques to enhance your finished pieces. Registration fee includes clay, glaze, and firings.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
