About

This three-hour introductory fusing workshop will cover cutting and arranging sheet glass into coasters, sun catchers or earrings. Participants will receive a short demo from the instructor before exploring the material independently. The work will be loaded into the kiln to be fired and will be ready for pick-up the following week. Participants are encouraged to prepare designs beforehand, but it is optional! There will be plenty of time during the workshop to brainstorm ideas.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule for safety reasons.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.

Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.

You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.

The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
