Stitch sparkly beads on fabric! This workshop introduces students to decorative bead embroidery techniques to create intricate and textured designs on fabric. Perfect for beginners and experienced embroiderers alike, this workshop offers a creative way to explore patterns, textures, and colours while crafting a sparkly hoop art. Students can apply the skills learned in this workshop to future embroidery projects, such as hoop art and fashion upcycling projects.
Please note: this workshop is for students who are comfortable working with fine thread, small needles and tiny beads.

Yes, any cancellations 5+ business days away from the start date of when your workshop begins is eligible for a refund.
Our studios are dedicated to our full-time Artists-in-Residence program; no studio access is allowed outside of the residency. The only exception is participants taking classes, who may only remain in the studio during actual class time.
You must apply for the program, follow the guidelines and meet the criteria required of applicants. This information can be found on our website (Residency Program Information) page. Applications open once a year in January and close in March.
The Craft & Design studios are 18+ only. However, we do have a craft-focused program through our School Visits department that specializes in that. For more information, you can visit the School Visits page on our website.
