Specialty & Science Mad Science: Rocket Scientists (Waitlist Open) New camp!
Ages 8–11
Children will embark on a captivating space exploration journey during our Rocket Scientists program. This dynamic week-long experience delves into the physics of rocket flight, rocket components and all aspects of rocketry. Campers will explore the history of NASA’s rocket program and take their first steps in exploring the universe with nano rovers. They’ll also channel their creativity by designing galactic mobiles, all while discussing the potential of galaxy exploration through rocket technology. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to build a variety of rockets, including the Skyblazer, Paper Tiger Rocket and Bog Rocket.

FIELD TRIP These camps offer one field trip per session (weather permitting).
OUTDOORSThe majority of this program will take place outdoors (weather permitting). Quality indoor programming provided as needed.
SWIMMINGCampers swim for about one hour per session (weather permitting). Campers swimming ability will be asked for as part of the registration process, and any camp that participates in swimming activities will have their swimming ability tested prior to planned swimming activity.
