Special Program – In Partnership with The Power Plant

How can an examination of art inspire the creation of your own artwork?

Program Description

Students will begin their day at The Power Plant learning about the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 exhibitions. Students will then head to Harbourfront Centre and participate in a half-day visual arts program that allows students to share their connections and responses to the exhibition.

Program Objectives

By the end of the Special Program – In Partnership with The Power Plant program, students will:

  • Attend The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery to view works of art on display.
  • Use their observation skills to examine artwork as an opportunity to learn more about themselves and the artists.
  • Create a piece of art that responds to their experience in the exhibition.
